Known as a champion for the people of Texas and fearless crusader against corruption, Sarah Stogner is proud to serve as D.A. of 143rd Judicial District. In this role, she’s taking on perpetrators of the worst crimes, from rape and sexual abuse to other violent offenses, fraud and more.

Originally from Louisiana, she spent years in commercial litigation. Her work included providing legal counsel for energy-related entities. After moving to West Texas, she became a passionate advocate for plugging orphaned oil wells.
Sarah shook up the political establishment with her ability to draw state-wide and national attention to crucial issues, sometimes in unlikely ways. She has called out both major political parties and is a living embodiment of what it is to be an independent-minded civil servant.
When local residents asked her to run for District Attorney in 2024, Sarah proudly said yes. She won, taking office in 2025.
